Tapping Into Health: Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)

EFT is a mind-body-spirit self-care approach which involves tapping on acupuncture points while repeating emotionally-charged statements that relate to specific health issues. This workshop will be an intensive four-week experiential program featuring group tapping exercises and individual tapping demonstrations for a variety of topics.

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a phenomenally powerful technique, developed by Stanford Graduate Gary Craig, which has been designed to address problems in a different way and from a different perspective.

Often referred to as ‘Psychological Acupressure’, EFT creates the removal of energy blockages at an energetic level causing an improvement in the flow of energy throughout the energy body.

These blockages within the body’s energy system, in addition to creating emotional challenges, often lead to the creation of limiting beliefs and behaviours which creates an inability to live life how we were meant to. Resulting symptoms are emotional and / or physical and include lack of confidence, self esteem, anxiety, depression and many other emotional and physical issues.

By using EFT and  improving the energy flow throughout the energy body, this can  help to collapse those negative beliefs, thoughts, feelings and emotions that support psychological unhappiness, those feelings of being stuck that can result in poor health.

EFT works by stimulating the major meridians of the body, tapping with the fingers on acupuncture points on the head, hands and body, while simultaneously consciously and verbally focusing on specific issues. This ‘tapping’ leads to a remarkable clearing of  energy blockages and creates an increase in the energy flow throughout the energy body.

By using EFT to improve the energy flow within the body, we can help to evolve the presented problem. This seems to work especially well with problems that have been ‘stuck’ for a long time and seem to be ‘immune’ to all attempts to either solve or evolve them.

It is now widely accepted that the mind body connection  is a key factor in many physical symptoms and disease and for this reason EFT is widely used on physical issues including chronic illness with often astounding results.

EFT is a positive, proactive experience and often works when nothing else will.
